  tho the final boss has brought me down to 1 one heart, but yet I haven't died. WoF and Twins on the other hand...

  Ya, every enemy (exluding bosses, they have about 1/3 health bonus) has twice as much the health.
  
  Also bosses drop good stuff, Developer items are now availible from "Treasure Bags" (boss drop that contains any of the boss drops), though Dev items drop from Hardmode bosses only. (so far i have Loki's - and Skiphs's set.)
  
  and the items have about twice the drop rate (1% are 2%, 14% are somewhere 'bout 15-16%)
  
  so yea. Expert Mode is pretty hard.
  
  Even slimes are dangerous on Expert mode, they deal twice the damage!
  
  ...hold on every mob has about 50% damage bonus and 10% Knockback resistance bonus.
