I thinking i'll get the gray switch instead of the red and strange shade of blue. I really don't like those colors, but if the gray one isn't available, i'll get that on i guess. 

OK, just started trying out Gamemaker Studio and I have to say I love it. The drag and drop interface makes it useful for complete beginners like me. If you haven't given it a go, I highly suggest you try it.
 

I feel like it's gotten to the point that member who post FAD content use the fact that lots of people hate FAD on the MI forums as plausible deniability for making bad content that people downvote, blaming people's negative opinions on their hate for the series rather than their disliking of the quality of the content.

There is no shading, I mostly just wanted to experiment with the face.

So when 6th grade started I promised myself that I would think before pulling myself into situations. But that year was even worse than it regularly was. I dealt with heartbreak, ended friendships, hatred, bias, and just overall depression. So as I move into a new school, it is the absolute PERFECT opportunity to completely end any chance of that and start as a completely new and better person. Basically, resetting my overall social life. Any tips to improve my control over situations? What do you tell yourself before you do anything, and how did you learn to remember it? Have you ever solved a similar sitiuation, and if so... how?

Ok let me correct myself about the whole "don't use a mouse" thing from my last post
I, personally, don't like using a mouse. A lot of people make good art with a mouse  and if you're satisfied with that then you can keep using it. But, in my opinion and with seeing a lot of the mouse art, I can still say with certainty that your art will look better with a tablet (unless its pixel art I guess but I don't do pixel so I can't say anything ) 
and that's not to say that it doesn't look good now, It does. The examples I saw (besides the joke one) where good, but, again in my opinion, your art would improve with a tablet.
I don't want this to come off as "oh I'm a know-it-all and you should listen to me because I'm good at art". If you want to keep using a mouse for your art, go for it, I'm just her giving my opinion. It is your choice whether you want to use a mouse or not, as long as your happy doing what your doing, I couldn't care less about what you use

@TheLionwarrior asked me awhile ago what my secret was and I didn't answer for some reason??? So here it is not only for you but for everyone who is curious also:

I'm joking, the only reason I'm half as good as I am (and let's be honest, it's ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) is because I started when I was really young, I'm really dedicated to my art (even if it might not show with my slow updates) and I looked at a lot of refs. Like, looking up poses and junk, it helps.
Watching speed paints on youtube are also a good way to see how other artists work and you can incorporate that into your stuff, and your art will grow and evolve with you ( I guess)
Tools of the trade, If you're doing digital, please, please do not use a mouse. Buy a cheap tablet or something but try to avoid a mouse.
