  1. I never get the idea behind quoting yourself to make a point of some kind. For instance:

    "I like poop" - UberKyle

    It just doesn't make sense to me how they do that. Does it imply that what you say is quotable? Does it imply that your words carry a lot of weight? Does it mean that the person being quoting has some significance? It just confuses me when the person, quotes themselves. If somebody else quoted another person, that is understandable. But quoting themselves? It makes me think the person has some smug self-satisfaction.

      Perhaps they are simply bringing up an earlier point made by themselves and presenting it in a quote format for simplicity.

      That I can understand, but there's no reason to show it off like how an important quote typically would be.
