Good luck, man. remember not to try any new techniques or anything. my first attempt at multishining was at a school competition, where i stupidly side b'd off the stage.

Yeah. I'm planning on playing as the characters I enjoy rather than looking at tier lists for even a second. I don't have to deal with a lot of tech with Young Link on Melee and Ganon on PM lmao.

  4. I'm tied between a few characters to play in a PM tournament bracket tomorrow. So I made a strawpoll because i'm so indecisive.  http://strawpoll.me/6677543

  5. You might want to have the shovel go inward on one side and outward on the other, if it's not like that already. You're not gonna do much with a shovel that can't carry dirt.
  6. The 'have you used any other programs' question should allow you to choose multiple options, not just one.
  7. Look at the top right of your work camera. if is not enabled, enable it, it's the fifth icon from the corner.
  8. Does anyone have Rivals of Aether that wants to play?

  9. how how does one neck without it looking derpy? w h a t
  10. I want to make a Melee TAS, but I don't know who to use. Considering C. Falcon atm, anyone have any suggestions?

Tool Assisted Speedrun (or Superplay, in this case.) Basically it's a frame-perfect play of a game. They're made using pausing, single frame advance, and save states. Example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXRiZmZhJ84

  11. Watch me attempt to make a Melee TAS if you want.  https://youtu.be/rbXmLGw64M8

  12. In layman's terms, It's a way to make an object act like it's not parented to something else, even though it is.
  13. In case you didn't know what I meant in the title, let's say you have a sword in your character's hand, and you have to go into your timeline or it'll only select a specific part of the sword, as well as outside of the timeline, you have to select the character as a whole before the sword itself. If you've got the sword/equip in a folder (please note that this is better utilized with a rig in-hand.), you can put it in another folder to give it a special property I'd like to label "Pseudo-separation," but I doubt that name will catch on. This is a single piece of a rig of mine. You can see, that the folder here (Back_Mount) is locked, while the sword (Rengokuto Ensa) is unlocked. What this does, is it kind of separates the sword from the rest of the rig, while still allowing it to follow its parent. To demonstrate how this is done, (and the fact that it works) I am going to use Steve with a diamond sword as an example. (wow, very special.) I am going to attach another part to the sword however, to demonstrate that it doesn't matter what is clicked on the object. The image below is a (semi-large sized) GIF of what it takes to select the sword, and shows that you cannot select the sword via clicking on the overall object and then clicking on the sphere. This is the regular function. This is what the hierarchy looks like right now. To modify the hierarchy and allow the sword to be selected as if it were its own object, follow this GIF, or read the steps. GIF: Steps: If done correctly, you should be able to select the object by clicking on it alone, as shown in the GIF in this spoiler. Note where the outlines are. Thanks for reading, and I hope you find this useful. DO NOTE, however, that while anything is selected, you can NOT select items as a whole. Unless the top of the hierarchy for said object is anything but a folder. So if you select the human as a whole first, you will still select individual parts of the sword. (in this example.) Thus, this only affects it when nothing is selected.
  14. (image) Since someone else beat me to it, I was thinking maybe I shouldn't make a sans rig, but it was something I wanted to do a while back, so uh. wip?

  15. So, Über and I were just playing some Melee over netplay. I was playing as Captain Falcon, and him as Sheik. He might've won the match, but I CERTAINLY didn't lose. He had two stocks left, and I had one. I managed to land a pretty good knee from the left side of the stage, sending him hurtling to the right. He was offstage, and to recover, he started his Up-B. As he did that, I sprinted towards him, and at the highest speed Falcon can go, I kneed him into the blast zone, IMMEDIATELY when his teleport ended.. I feel so happy now.
