God, why do people get so upset when someone makes a comparison to something else? Like for example, people have made a comparison that one of my OCs looks like and enderman, and I find that hilarious. Why are making comparison such a bad thing? You got your stuff compared to Hozq, isnt that good? He's talented and you got compared to him, Id take that as a compliment.

I certainly agree that story and storytelling need far more emphasis within the MI community, and I'm trying to do that with my own series that I need to get around to working on, but I feel like this isn't just an issue with the MI community but the amatuer/hobbyist VFX community as a whole.
