Hey guys! I decided to test out creating rigs, and this is my first rig. It was requested by MrDonoB.

Awhile ago when I was active on PlanetMinecraft, I used to create some skins when I was bored. Here's a mage skin I created; but I don't remember the reason for it.
 
I recolored it a few times for an animation I was going to make, but I haven't figured out how to layout the whole animation and so for now it's a failure.

Use the skins for whatever you like. You can even make the black transparent, put it as a layer over your current skin in an image editing program, and save it to give your player the cloak look.

I'm looking back to my PlanetMinecraft account that I haven't touched in a year, and I found a few neat schematics I made. I'll post them here:

This project took me, if I can recall, about 7 hours to build. It was extremely challenging and difficult, and I also lost the texture pack I used in which every block was green. If you use this schematic, you can most likely just mix in a green color to get rid of the problem in which some blocks are orange.

A small pirate ship I built for a dock on my friend's minecraft server. After he shut down his server, I asked him for the server file so I could salvage my projects. I spent a little while on this one.

Welcome to the Unofficial Mineimator Summer Animation Competition, hosted by me! (Hence why it's unofficial)
 
I always tend to see tons of collabs here, and I thought it would be great to change it up and create a fun, friendly competition for all the animators here now that the summer is beginning and the majority of the animators here most likely have more free time.
 
RULES:
The rules are very simple. You must create an animation based off of the theme of "summer". It's a pretty broad topic, which allows you to use creativity to express your ideas. For example, an animation could be a funny animation about a student impatiently waiting for the last day of school to end. Or, it could be about an adventure that a guy has while on vacation. The ideas are endless, as long as they relate to the theme!
 
There are some requirements that must be met before your animation is submitted:
 - Only use this thread to say that you will be joining the competition, and to submit your final animation.
 - The animation must be longer than 45 seconds, but it must be less than 5 minutes.
 - The animation must be your own original idea. (It cannot be based off of a movie)
 - If you use others' rigs, you must give credit somewhere in the animation or video description.
 - To submit the animation, you must upload it to YouTube (It can be private) and post the link on this thread.
 - The animation must have at least one main character, and therefore it cannot be a mix of random scenes.
 - The animation must have a title, and your forums username must be in the description of the video.
 
Once you make sure that your animation fits these requirements, good luck!
 
DEADLINE AND OTHER INFORMATION:
 
The deadline for this contest will be August 5th. Any animations submitted after this time will not be accounted for.
 
Judging:
Myself, along with a few others here at the forums, will be judging. We will grade each animation based on a point system and criteria, and the animations with the highest amount of points will win the top three awards.
 
Awards:
Based on your final rank in the competition at the end, there will be four different awards.
These awards are small images that can be put on the "About Me" page or your signature.
 
1) Basic Award: This award goes to any competitor that did not become a finalist.
 
2) Bronze Award: This award goes to the 3rd place finalist.
 
3) Silver Award: This award goes to the 2nd place finalist.
 
4) Gold Award: This award goes to the 1st place finalist.
 
The awards, along with the final results, will be posted in a follow-up thread when the judging has been completed. So, make sure to stay tuned! Good luck to all who are participating! I hope that at some point, David may host an official animation competition.

This would be amazing to use. Unfortunately i'm running mineimator on a laptop that can barely handle a large schematic

This was heavily inspired by a Skyrim Mod.
