meybey... finally got my hands on a proper editing software so now I don't have to use windows Movie Maker

I'm sure I know how you did this. Something to do with blocks, I suppose?

no I could have done it with surfaces that I textured to look like light rays but then I would have the issue that if the character blocked the light rays they would still show
