[Ignore the Comic Sans, this is another rant update.] What happened to Collabs? They used to have a set plot: "Start here, do something relevant to the last entry, end there and so on." At this point, all they've become are "Make your character follow the rules and eventually end it according to the rules. Do whatever you want, just don't break the rules." They aren't even rules, they're basically a tiny limitation that still allows anyone to do whatever they want. I can't see anything good about the entries in those kinds of collabs. Things like Mind The Gap, sure they don't transition between entries that well, but they have a goal. This video pretty much sums up the goal. Whereas other ones like the Wasted Collab (sorry, Unmute) lack a purpose. All it's saying is "You're free to do as you wish! Just make sure to have the character die and slap a big WASTED onto the screen." I just wish that collabs would be...dynamic, while still maintaining a purpose.
