Sure it is cliche otherwise it would be even more boring The animations were the first ones I ever made, and at the time, they were some of the few 'better' ones out there (most of them didn't even have sound I believe) Anyways thanks a lot for the feedback!

Hey everyone I'm back with some content! I picked up on minemator again today and was quite surprised how much has been added So I tried to put all that stuff to good use and make a (kind of) sequel to my life of a zombie hunter animation: The text roughly translates to: Yeah probably! Any Feedback is highly appreciated!!!

Hey there! Recently, I've begun to animate again (at least a bit) after a really long break... Since I wanted to do some fighting animations, and practice Taekwondo myself, I made this little animation. I rendered it in three perspectives (one without opponent and two with), and put sound and music in. Let me know your feedback and/or Ideas for new animations! I would like to do a continuation of this one, but I need a story or some other idea I can work off from...

1. Maximize your Mine-Imator Window before exporting, as it will give you the best quality available 2. Make sure when your characters walk, the feet don't "slip" over the ground and stay on one place between steps (This is hard, but IMO it looks very good) The 2nd point would also make a good suggestion to David, to be able to lock body parts to a specific location, and then bend and strech it to reach this location depending on the characters other location

Well why don't you just add the weather option anyways and then leave us to figure out when we not want it to snow? I mean, you'd have to add a keyframe option to the weather so we can change it as we want, but I think it would work out better than tracking the snow in in video editing ^^

I was thinking of something like this aswell. I think it would be amazing to have a mod that records your movements in Minecraft and then can export them as .mani files along with the .schematic ^^

Dev update #1: Mine-imator status and World importer preview
yxxy replied to david's topic in Downloads and news
It's just that I don't think it's hard to search a .schematic for Torches, Glowstone and Fire and put Lights at these place rather than having to place a light manually for each and every Light Source... -

Hey, I just stumbled upon this: Techne Modeler and I was thinking if it would be possible to somehow create your own model/rig/whatever. Is that possible David? And how complicated is it to do all the rig setup? Thanks in advance, yxxy

Dev update #1: Mine-imator status and World importer preview

I just read your new Blogpost David... I have to say THAT IS F***ing incredible!! Nothing more...just, can you maybe have a function to have the fire automatically emit light? ^^ -
Quite good, but I think a normal Minecraft Clock would have done better than an Eye of Ender... Meh, the animation is better than average, but I think it can still be improved. What I really liked was the Lighting of the scene, and the idea of the TV. Maybe, next time you could put in some background scenery for the shots where you see the whole house/car/whatever that thing is... I hope this helped.

It's never too late Nice animation btw...but the enderman in the water at the end confused me a bit... was that some music magic or so?
-
I guess the animation is too short for that ^^
