Alright. I'm almost done creating my low-poly character mesh, and all that's left to do before I rig it is to get some feedback from you guys! Here it is:

For those wondering, after I've rigged it and weight painted it properly, I'll export it to Unity and hopefully work on making a game! I'll also try to use it for animations which I hope to upload to my channel

I've been getting some practice modeling in blender, and I'm making this character, but I don't know what to add. He looks kind of flat right now. Needs more detail. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I think a lot of people are exaggerating the issue of abusing the downrep system when it comes to judging a newbie's content by quality. Most people will not downvote a newbie's content if effort was clearly put into it. Rather, people usually downvote when a newbie's content took little to no effort, it has a dab (or some other idiotic trend -- i.e. "ecip movement creeper dabbing"), it's f.naf, it's mislabeled, and/or they straight up lie about how much effort they put in. If they then show that they can't take criticism, or don't use the criticism to improve themselves, then people will downvote it even more. From what I've seen, people generally don't downvote anything a newbie makes so long as they put in some effort.
We don't need to "start a movement to improve the forums", we just need to be better judges of effort. 
I think that's my second rant this week. Dangit I gotta stop
