I can second this. I'm quite young and I'm already writing small Discord bots. I'm actually going towards creating a basic game engine. You just need to start doing what you wanna do when you're really young.
Also, never sleep actually works for me so... /shrug

Vegas is complicated but it only takes a month to get decent at editing. After a year or so, you're basically a pro. I've been using that amazing program for over 2 years and have gotten extremely experienced with it. Don't give up just because something is complicated, that's what makes it fun.

Vegas autosaves, and sometimes if you're lucky, it saves right before it crashes so you don't loose any progress!
