      bad analogy: most of the time people flock to fad on the forums at the slightest mention of it in the title. there they lay waste to it by repeating the same things everyone has already said a thousand times, and downvoting endlessly.

    Did you open a big schematic by an chance Edit: I look through the log again and it seems like it is crashing when you are exporting I could export the animation for you if nothing else helps.

    This seems like a game maker error rather than mine imator itself. You see mine imator was built with the game maker engine which is not always the best if you could provide us with the full error it generates or a error log then we will be one step closer to trouble shooting your problem.
