The opposite of an impersonator is a personator. They don't copy other people's looks, they create new ones.
But some of this is cultural, as with the phrase "dancing ladies." In the 1940s, dance was not like the modern dance. Instead, dance was about making the wearer and listener into something other than themselves.
People today who are comfortable with their bodies have to deal with a much greater risk of physical illness on a daily basis than ever before.
So if you want to be a healthy individual, you need to work with yourself to make the necessary choices to feel and look good and have fun with what you can.
When I go to public events, I take a photo with the venue photographer as if I were there to take a photo with them. My face is framed in my mug. I look really serious: relaxed, confident, and comfortable.
I smile, keep my mouth closed, and make sure the audience knows that I'm not looking for a selfie.
I look at my mug and see it now, with a smile, with my breath, not a frown, and a picture with a little smile on my face and a big smile on a lot of people's faces.
I can do this with my hands, though I have to work on improving some skills. As a professional dance music.
