    smooth tracks*

    make it 360

    another 360

    customize

20.5 units (minecraft pixels) track gauge
    Minecraft styled rail track set

(from left, both has the same bend values) "smooth short 19x segments" track, "center bend 18x blocks" track.

(from left) "smooth short 19x segments" track [max Z bend], "standard 1 block" track, "standard 5 blocks" track, "smooth short 19x segments" track [no bend]

    "center bend 18x blocks" track.

    "front bend 19x blocks" track.

"center bend 18x blocks EASE" track.
    in case you wonder why...
18 blocks? the main purpose is to make the bending value easier like [ 360 degrees divide by 18 blocks/segments, equals 20. in order to make a full 360 degree turn, you have to set the bend value to 20, 180 degree to 10, and so on. or vice versa (multiply, 18seg x 20deg = 360deg turn, 18x10=180 ...]. EASE? the other half of the track will "reflect" the bend values so the end of the track will be "reflected", like the track's start point. 19 blocks or segments? its needed in case of "why 18 blocks?" didnt work.

MrPizzaCat reacted to Voxy in Welcome to the new Mine-imator Forums!
Hello everybody, hope you’re all doing well!
Today, we’re very excited to announce that we're launching a big update for the Mine-imator Forums, with a beautiful new design, a revamped layout and a few extra features!
In this post, we’ll cover all the changes we made, starting with...
     A snazzy new look
Gone are the dark blues and grays of days past! With this update, we’re introducing a brand new design, based on an updated version of Inventory, the design system that powers the user interface of Modelbench, and soon, Mine-imator.

Featuring a rich, bright color palette, updated typography and icons, and a wider, more spacious layout, this slick new theme will bring a much needed modern makeover for the forums. I really hope you’ll enjoy it!
     Join the dark side
If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like frying their retinas while browsing at night, don’t worry, we got you covered! The new theme comes with a built-in Dark Mode to make your reading experience a lot more comfortable when you need it.

To enable it, simply click the moon icon on the top right of the page. The forums will automatically remember your choice, and you can disable it at any time, too!
 Note that for this feature to work properly, any existing color formatting had to be removed from posts. This was necessary to prevent text with dark colors applied to it from being impossible to read for Dark Mode users.
     News you can’t miss
Unless you specifically follow the right forums, it can be easy to miss all the important new stuff we have to share with you. To help with that, we’re introducing Headlines, a new way of making announcements to the community.
Headlines is a new feature on our homepage, allowing us to highlight any posts we want you to read, such as updates on the development of Mine-imator, important news regarding the forums, etc. This way, we can be sure you won’t have to worry about missing out on the latest juicy tidbits!
 A bit of spring cleaning
As part of this update, we’re also changing the way the forums are organized, to remove unnecessary clutter, and hopefully, make them easier to navigate.
The Mine-imator and Modelbench forums are now part of the same category, bringing them closer together, and making sure that you can find everything you need in one place.
As for the Minecraft and Off-topic categories, they’ve been merged into the Lounge, the new home of all the stuff that isn’t about Mine-imator. What used to be a dozen subforums now neatly fit within 4 forums, Random talk, Other creations, Minecraft discussion, and Forum games.
Let us know what you think about this new setup!
     And more!
We’ve replaced the existing reactions with a new set of playful animations featuring our mascots Ashley and Jonathan, animated by @mbanders and myself. And for those moments where a mere upvote just doesn’t feel like it’s enough, we’re also adding a new “Love” reaction to the roster! Use it wisely!
Moderators and members who have recently joined the forums will now display a badge next to their name in posts. User groups also have fancy icons next to their names! The number of won days and the number of questions you helped solve now display next to your posts, alongside your reputation points and your post count. The text editor has been updated with new icons and a few changes: Font and Size options were replaced with a Format option, letting you choose between three paragraph styles: Heading 1, Heading 2, and normal text. The text color option now uses the Inventory UI palette. While the selection is more limited, those new colors can automatically adapt for users that have Dark Mode enabled, ensuring high-contrast text no matter what background it’s being read against. The background color option also uses this new palette. It was tweaked to act like a highlighter tool, giving text a subtle background instead of a solid block of color. I’m very excited to start this new chapter of the Mine-imator Forums with all of you, and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it over the past few months. I’d also like to thank David, our trusty forum staff, and all our beta testers for helping me make this update possible.
If you have any feedback or suggestions to make, be sure to leave a reply below! In the meantime, happy browsing, everyone! Take care. ✌

MrPizzaCat reacted to XxxTheRedrocker95xxX in Hyperrealistic movie accurate Wall-E and Eve Rig showcase
Finally got around to doing some showcase renders of the Wall-E model. He was made entirely in Mine-imator, and I used paint.net to create the textures. Our internet was out for a while, so I spent around 4 hours or so gathering reference pictures of Wall-E from every possible angle, then used those images to model him within Mine-imator. it was a pretty fun little challenge! Eve is also here, you might've already seen some of the wallpaper renders I've made of her, but she isn't quite ready for a full showcase yet. I think they look pretty good together! This was one of the models that I'd put the most effort into getting the movement done right. I'm VERY specific on how Wall-E moves in the movies, since so many people tend to get his joints wrong. Simple things like the way his wrists move, or the fact that his head rotates, and the neck doesn't. The pistons in his neck and wrists, the hydraulics in his tracks, the lasers, all of that is important to get just right, or else the likeness won't be close enough to me. It took a lot of work, but I'm very happy with the result!
Here is all of his current features:
Movie accurate articulation (The only exception being the compressor and latch on his back) Animatable solar charge display Interior compactor detailing Functioning track hydraulics Opening solar panels Can be transformed into Cube form Reflective lenses Functioning Treads (Adjusted for animation and animated by @niam) Gimmicks (Laser, Eyelids, etc)

MrPizzaCat reacted to XxxTheRedrocker95xxX in Hyperealistic F.reddy Fazbear Rig [Don't judge me until you see it.]
Five Nights at Freddys' might be oversaturated in the Mine-Imator community, but that won't stop me from doing my take on the animatronic bear. If you don't like FNaF, that's perfectly fine, you don't have to look at FNaF related posts, you have the ability to just not post on them and ignore them. Anyways, this is my take on a proper Freddy rig in Mine-Imator. He took a bit longer to do than I expected, primarily because several users in the discord servers pointed out some proportion issues. Once those issues are pointed out to me, it's like a mental oath that I am forced to sign that declares "Corellion, you must redo this model to exceed their expectations. It's not good enough!" haha. It's a good thing though, because it's leading me to fix a lot of my older models to look even better. Of course, it's also a huge curse, because it means I rarely am satisfied with my models, and they constantly sit around as a work in progress. I get stuck in an endless loop of seeing little details to add, or minor changes to improve it. Oh well. Enough talk. here he is.

MrPizzaCat reacted to Danese in Mine-imator = Wholesome
    Hey,
I'm just a random person waiting for a render to complete and I just wanted  to say "Thank you" to those who develop Mine-imator. I don't exactly have any money to donate to you guys, which is why I have decided to make this sappy post just to say "thank you" for all of the hard work you guys have put into this application. I greatly enjoy using Mine-inator for a large variety of projects, ranging from animations to rendering stills for thumbnails and even short gifs, and I am extremely happy that I am able to remove the watermark without having to purchase a license.
    So, thank you. :)

MrPizzaCat reacted to Nimi in Tone mapping In Mine-imator
Coincidentally, I started looking into this earlier today. I tried out ACES and it does improve image quality pretty well and gives realistic results(Almost looks like you're using SEUS or some other shader pack using tonemapping.), though things like the sky and fog get desaturated a fair bit because Mine-imator doesn't work with HDR.(GameMaker limitation). I'll show it off in a future dev update if I can work out some inconveniences with it and it gets added.
