Alright, I'm going into my Family Problems Rant Mode again. If you don't want to here my problems, turn away now.
So my Mom and Dad went shopping earlier, and when they came home, I didn't hear. Now, I was upstairs, on my computer, doing my pre-calculus and history homework, while listening to music.
Now, I didn't realize they were home until my dad called up and asked 'What are you up to?'
'I'm on my computer, doing my-'
'Are you too busy on your computer to help with the groceries?'
'No, here, let me come help'
'We're already done. Turn off your computer'
'I'm working on homework'
'I don't give a s***. Turn off your computer.'
'I need it to get my HOMEWORK DONE!'
'You can do it downstairs'
(This is when I'm halfway through an online worksheet I cannot save my progress on)
Needless to say, I refused to lose my progress on my homework, so I'm BANNED FROM COMPUTER ALL WEEK!!! Because I was DOING MY HOMEWORK!!!
Of course, as it would turn out, of was my mother who had (very quietly, apparently) asked if I could help. I didn't hear this, but my brother (who's room is closer to the door, I might add)/ apparently did. Because my brother heard but not me, my Dad thinks I ignored it. He also thinks I wasn't doing homework. I've got the freaking worksheet to prove it, you...
I needed to rant on this one, just because its so freaking stupid. I WAS DOING PRECALCULUS HOMEWORK!!! WHICH YOU KEEP TELLING ME IS SUPER EFFING IMPORTANT!!! WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FREAK!!!
*Breathes in... And out...*
TL/DR: My Dad's a jerk.
Sorry.

@Marty McFly yep.
@Ethan. no I finished it. Ironically, that's why I'm banned.

Your dad didn't know you were wearing headphones or listening to music while you were doing homework, maybe you told him you had headphones but he thought it was just an excuse to not go help him. Because you were fighting about something that wasn't true, you are now banned from using your computer.
Boom, I just read your dad's mind.

@Marty McFly if things like this didn't happen constantly, then sure, you would be right.
My Dad is the kind of guy who will get mad if you forget to do something he mentioned once in passing two weeks ago. He won't accept excuses (Had a migraine, still had to go to karate & piano lessons. Fun), and he holds Impossibly high standards for everybody other than him.
I got four As and a B last semester, and he didn't once mention the As.
The more you know.
