The Golden Age (Wallpaper, GORE)

The year is 1715, the War of the Spanish Succession is over and thousands of privateers and sailors are left unemployed. So in turn, many turned to piracy, launching a huge attack on Spanish divers who were in the process of harvesting gold from Spanish shipwrecks (From the war). Soon, as pirates were banned from their homes, Nassau was founded as a free island for pirates and men alike. 

 

This wallpaper focuses on a famous pirate, Edward Teach/Thatch or better known as "Blackbeard", and his final living seconds, until he is cut down by Robert Maynard. 

 

This wallpaper took me a day, and it's in 4K.

Most people just slap together a couple schematics and a sentence and call it a history wallpaper. But few people (you included ) Have actually took the time and effort to write about the event, making it serve a point, use rigs and various objects to give it some diversity.
