Mine-imator 1.0.0 DEMO

First of all, great job, this is a hell of a lot to get done, even if you are multiple people, and whether or not you are using game maker, well, it's pretty hard to do something like this even with game maker. keep up the good work, and i hope it's capable of saving and stuff soon.

 

but, these problems have defiantly been reported before, maybe not all of them, but they're worth posting...

 

some changes i'd like (because i'm not overly demanding or anything)

 

if it's not too much trouble, i would really appreciate if you alphabetized the mob models. there aren't too many, and i don't think it would take much time, but there's just enough models now that it's a little annoying to find some of them... (obviously, this is after you have undos and saves and stuff...)

 

this might be only me, but i had a problem where the ground was not displaying the light cast be spotlights until after i had saved the video as an avi file.

 

 

there might just be something easy i can do to fix this, but i haven't been able to make the explosion particles the right size, i can only have a few of the pixels in the particle from the section of the explosion. (and that was worded badly... oops...)

 

I would also really appreciate a way to make the side menus a little bit smaller, i can barely see what i'm doing, even with them at the smallest size. (unless i have the individual keyframe menu closed...)

Click "Name" to sort the list :) You can also hit the magnifying glass to filter the list.

This is a technical limitation to save precious framerate. If you click the steve icon in the lower right of the 3D preview, you can see how the .avi will look like.

Make sure the frame width/height is correct, it's 32x32 for explosions. You can change the scale of particles in the settings, and make them grow or shrink over time.

If you click the names (next to the X button) and drag, you can move the menus around and combine them into each other.

I tried changing the work camera (using the secondary camera feature) while there we no cameras set and it crashed. I lost all of my work doing this.

 

Also, how do we save? Is it not there yet?

Saving will hopefully be up tomorrow in 1.0.1

David Help me please I can not open mine imator 1.0.0, I have done everything ... I clicko twice in imator mine and look in the manager and appears that it is open more not appear in my taskbar, ja I went into properties and unlocked the program, already reinstalled the program, I changed the theme of my pc to see if it was nada.Presciso and a solution!

to fix it not opening:

1. download D3DCompiler_43.dll from the internet

2. run as admin

3. wait about 5 min

(minimize all windows because you don't see it on the taskbar until you click on it)

I think I love you.

 

On a side note, I've found another little bug. I loaded a diamond sword and some of the sides are missing even though it's a 3D object.

I would like to suggest an idea...

 

Could:

 

The 0.7 Demo, just be... Beta 0.7

 

This 1.0.0 Demo could be Beta 0.8

And every time this demo is updated, it could be called: 0.8.1, 0.8.2 and so on

 

When this demo is stable, it could be called: 1.0.0.
