Dai90 reacted to _PV_ in Mine-imator doesn't feel like letting me upgrade.
Alright, so! I recently downloaded Mine-imator onto my computer as most people do when they want this program. And after finishing my animation Mine-imator told me that I have to upgrade it to get rid of that little watermark in the bottom right. So, I go to https://www.mineimator.com/upgrade and try to check the box next to the "I'd rather not donate" option and... it didn't work. My clicking attempts were useless. Please fix this. I'd rather not donate.

Dai90 reacted to JPanimatics in Free Rig Pack!
So I finished the rig pack that I announced last night, and it is free for everyone to use. As I said, it features most characters but not all.
These are the face rigs featured, with details about each rig.

These rigs were made in the mineimator community build, but it should work in all versions.

    DOWNLOAD:  https://www.mediafire.com/folder/616z93csw6uvt/Rigs

Zombie Pigman- This rig features movable eyes and to create emotion. On the pigs face it features regular white eyeballs with black pupils, but on the zombie side I used hollow eye sockets to convey the skeleton idea in the skin.
Pig- The pig features moveable eyes, and has smaller pupils to represent the lack of intelligence, because it makes the pig look funnier in my opinion. Obviously you can change the size if you disagree.
Alex- Alex features the whole face rig. With eyebrows, mouth, and eyes, you can make her talk AND show emotion.
Cow- The cow features moveable eyes very similar to the pig, but also has a mouth that it can open, featuring a set of bottom teeth.
Sheep- The sheep features only moveable eyes, same as the pig.
Wolf- The wolf features moveable eyes, that you can change to red to give the wolf an angry look! I intentionally didn't add a collar, because I didn't find it necessary. The wolf also features a moveable mouth, but other than using rotation as seen in the cow, it uses position changes.
Blaze- The blaze features moveable eyes, with fiery pupils to convey the fiery mob. I opened his mouth up, but it isn't exactly rigged to move. I just changed the look.
MOOSHROOM- This adorable animal has a face rigged in the eyes, but I made him look stupid, and he's bravely sitting underneath the blaze. Idiot.
Ocelot- The ocelot is hidden behind the selfish attention seeking villager priest, but he has a slightly visible eye rig. His eyes can show emotion, blink, and all the works.
Steve- Steve has the same rig as Alex, but Steve's rig features a nose cover. The nose cover is a surface over Steve's nose, because I didn't like it, but others do. Steve without the nose cap is in the pic, and without the nose cap I don't really like it.
Ghast- The ghast is a simple face rig for the eyes and the mouth, but with no pupils or teeth, because I still wanted the Ghast to have that somewhat blank expression.
Wither Skeleton and Skeleton- These both feature eye rigs, but with just the "eyelids" to convey emotion, but they have hollow heads with empty sockets.
Horse and Donkey- Both characters feature eye rigs, plus the already included mouth rig. The eyes looked a little strange with the rig, because they were on the side of the horse's/donkey's head.
Enderman- The Enderman features a simple eye rig, plus the built in eye rig. I believe I have the eyes brightened a bit, to glow in the dark, but that can be adjusted.
Creeper- The creeper features a reverse eye rig, with black eyeballs and white pupils. The creeper can have emotions to fit well with your scene.
Villager- The villager is actually a human model with a minecraft skin I got from the skindex. I added a nose to the rig, and also a uni brow, other than that it features the same things as Steve and Alex. The Villager project file features all villager ranks, and each one works with the rig.
Witch- The witch has a simple eye rig, but it also has a uni brow.  The witch does not have moveable arms like the villager, but I didn't think it was that necessary.\
Zombie- The zombie features an inverted eye rig, with red pupils instead of white. Poor dude didn't bring an umbrella to this photoshoot.

Anyways, happy mineimating, and I hope you enjoy this Rig. If you use it in your videos, I would appreciate credit, but I don't demand it.

Dai90 reacted to david in Guide: How to post a Mine-imator project
When you save your project in Mine-imator, a folder is created with the animation name, which contains the .miproject (Mine-imator project) file of your animation together with any skins/textures/scenery you used. This makes sharing animations simple, as everything is located in one place. You can usually find this folder where you installed Mine-imator, inside the Projects folder.
Note: This guide is relevant for all kinds of files, not just Mine-imator projects.
    Step 1:
You can't upload a folder to the internet, but you can upload a compressed folder (.zip file), also known as an archive. If you only want to upload a single file, you can skip this step.
To create a compressed folder on Windows, right-click the folder, select "Send to" and pick "Compressed (zipped) folder" as shown below. The newly created compressed folder will have the same name as your original folder with .zip added.

    Step 2:
Upload the file or archived folder to a media sharing site. There are some good ones out there, I'd recommend one of these:
MediaFire Google Drive Dropbox Step 3:
When you have uploaded the file (this process varies from site to site), fetch the download link of your file and post it on the forums. Make sure the download works before sharing it with the world!

I have YouTube called OPENCLOUD STUDIOS, where I upload Minecraft animation and most of them are made in Mine-Imator. Sometimes, I work on large projects, therefore I really want to a feature in mine-imator where we move an objects in x, y and z axes at the same time. I mean, I hate moving objects with just arrows and the coordinates stuff because it gets boring sometimes. Hope David will fix this issue!!
Other than that I love Mine-imator for it's graphics.

Dai90 reacted to david in The rules of the Mine-imator forums
For everybody to enjoy the Mine-imator forums, we must make an effort to follow some guidelines.
    Speak English
English is the language of the internet, including the Mine-imator forums. You can speak in whatever language you want in PMs, though. Don't create duplicate topics
Keep the amount of topics to a minimum to improve the browsing experience for other members. Don't make more than one account
It takes up forum space, causes confusion between members and makes moderation a headache.
Alternate accounts will be detected, removed and a warning issued to the original account. Post in the correct subforum
If you're unsure, see the header in each subforum to see what you can and what you cannot post there.
Topics that are posted in the wrong place will be moved by a moderator. Don't use oversized signatures
To save everyone from breaking their mouse scroll wheel, keep the signature size to a minimum. 200-250 pixels tall is the absolute maximum. If your signature is ridiculously tall, a moderator will remove it and give you a warning. Don't abuse the Reputation system
The Reputation system was made to highlight  and incentivize helpful and constructive posts. Do not give up- or down-reps to a member just for the sake of increasing or decreasing their rank, or create shops to harvest Reputation in exchange for services. Doing this will result with a warning and eventually your Reputation reset to 0. Don't chat
The forums are for intelligent discussions and not small talk. If you want to chat, go here or use the PM system. Don't use adf.ly or similar services
Unless you are the rightful owner of the thing you're linking to. Don't post a status update about a new topic you've started
If the topic is still visible under "Recent Topics" Do not revive dead topics
A topic is "dead" if the latest reply is more than 2 months old. Rather than bumping them to the top, start a new topic. You may revive your own topics, as long as you add new information. Topic revival is only allowed if the topic is posted in the Mine-imator creations or Mine-imator resources sections of the forums. Use the report button, don't resort to mini-modding
If someone is breaking any of the rules here, don't post anything. Rather, press the "Report" button in the top left of the offender's post. This will alert all moderators, leaving a message like "This is posted in the wrong forum!" will not. Taking matters into your own hands like this is called mini-modding, and posts like that take up space and do not add anything to the topic. Read more about mini-modding here. Do not impersonate others
This includes regular members, moderators or banned users (by using the infamous "BANNED" avatar) These things are not tolerated ANYWHERE on the forums (including the Discord and PMs)
Discussions of illegal subjects/activities (this includes software cracking, torrenting, etc.) Offensive/racist/rude behavior or imagery Bullying or discrimination Spamming (constantly posting the same content, nonsense or useless posts just to get noticed) Pointless swearing/overuse of CAPS Gore/Screamers or other frightening imagery Links to viruses/trojans/malware Images of/links/heavy references to sexual content Advertising potentially malicious products or sites (if you are unsure, ask a moderator) Flashing imagery or excessive use of colors, special characters, smileys and/or oversized fonts Breaking the above rules will result with a warning sent to you by a moderator/administrator. Repeated warnings will result with a banning of your account.

If we follow these rules, we can all have a good ol' time!
