Due to the inherent difficulties of moderating a forum where name changes can completely alter the appearance and identity of users, the name changing feature has been completely disabled for everybody with immediate effect. As such, future name changes will only be done through PMing and are limited to once per user from now on.

And really it should be 1792. While the Revolution began in 1789, it was first after the deposition of the king and the start of the Reign of Terror in 1792 that the executions started en masse. -

Yeah, regular soldiers before ~1660 would probably not have looked like much more than peasants with a sword and a musket, maybe a cuirass if they were lucky.

Although I want to point out the inaccuracy of the Swedish usage of military uniforms during this time period, I'm completely overwhelmed by the fact that someone actually made a historical wallpaper.

This is dependent on if David manages to find a functional .mp4 exporter (making one seems to be beyond his knowledge). The reason only .avi is possible at the moment is because that was the only thing available to work with.
