So they added jigsaw blocks to bedrock, you can open a ui pretty much exactly like the java one.
Can these be used for anything by players yet, even on Java? Or are they only used by the game?

Now that I think about it's the implementation of these to Bedrock may be a precursor to proper custom structures.(Which I think already is on Java?)
I can honestly see Bedrock getting user functionality for jigsaw first, because of the way resource/behavior packs are already set up.
What I'm getting at is that whenever Bedrock gets custom structures, they may allow creators to use jigsaw to create structures similar to villages.(which is what jigsaw is already used for, at least on Java)

Pretty sure Java Edition's recent snapshots are looking toward implementing Jigsaw Block functionality.
