If Java Edition is the best version, how come it's got the least players?

Hm...cool.
Bedrock is better because it was/is being built with customization in mind. Customized worlds will have lots more options than Java(Directly told to me by the Minecraft community manager on twitter, HelenAngel) because it...can? That's basically what she said. The modding API will be built directly into the game, unlike Java edition's Forge.
And entitys. Can you add a custom entity into minecraft java?(not asking if it's possible, I'm asking if YOU can.) On Java you CAN edit them. But you have to be able to code in Java(I think). On bedrock, anyone can do it with simple JSON. There are lots of tools that help with this(MCCToolchestPE is what I use)
I know that Java didn't add this because Forge has already done so. But once Bedrocks customization/modding stuff is done with, pretty much anyone can mod. I can't wait until we can add blocks.
And have you seen the way Bedrock does the particle command? It goes WAY beyond anything Java can do without mods! It's so cool.
