  1. I see what you're going for and I really have to agree with the minecraft modeling tips. Minecraft consists of linear 3D planes and obvious blocks. Your model resembles something that was made for a voxel type game or art format that doesn't really fit into minecraft without it having the "looks off" thought to it. My biggest suggestion is to understand minecraft and how it's current models work aesthetically with its limited shapes and proportions. If anything work on some rough draft designs of how a barrel may look in a minecraft world before texturing. Helps me a ton with my own models. Best of luck and I hope to see more
  2. Like an OBJ or an FBX? It has been done before by Nimi, but it's probably never going to be implemented. Mainly because it would ruin the whole reason of this software's iconic existence as a minecraft animation software. At that point you might as well just use/learn the more professional software if you're wanting to use them.
  3. You'd just have to make your own using textured arms with fixed bends. Honestly just takes experience and a good understand of mine-imator's tricks. Remember. We didn't have modelbench for awhile there and people have made some great facial rigs without it in the past.
  4. "You might consider sitting this one out" -Cortana "Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away" starts playing*
  5. This test animation was made to sorta view the way the plants would move artificially as if it was affected by the wind. The movement of these objects are controlled by bends and the illusion of these plants looking 3D make it look more realistic then the built-in wind effect in Mine-imator. Lighting wasn't something I put effort into while making this example. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: I made this rig accidently by importing the HD texture of the plants into Modelbench instead of my intended texture of a pixelated crate.
  6. Haven't seen those rigs in a phat minute.
  7. Imagine watching someone get a turtle helmet while you're stuck with some iron boots.
  8. A visual representation of reach in Minecraft using a hacked client.
  9. That's actually something I was worrying about. It's actually cranked up pretty high. I'll trust my gut next time
  10. This test animation was made to kinda test my realistic lighting in a video format for a work in progress animation that takes place in realistic environments. I played around with using multiple glow sources to make a more customized god ray. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: This scene is actually still being worked on as it's one of the many settings I still have to make for the animation project.
  11. Love what you did with the aura and the how the outline(s) of it give it that comic aesthetic. Hope to see more like this one
  12. This render didn't take me much time to make. However, this render is just a simple showcase for my newest rig I call "Slimp"(Simp lol) and it's actually the first rig I made in the newer UI Modelbench. Every black space for the rig is fully bendable with fingers that have a more appropriate scale. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: The rig used in this render is part of a photo realistic short film I'm working on with Mine-Imator.
  13. This project is a symbol of how anything I make is just a reflection of my emotions that is converted into some sort of visual experience. I don't use Mine-imator much anymore so I thought I'd re-visit Mine-imator and produce something I enjoyed making back when I did. I played around with surfaces and how they reflect shadows. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: This render was made in 24 hours, but was started while intoxicated at 4am.
  14. This render was kind of a render I used to test out the "skills" I once had for mine-imator. The map is a part of a mini game that is being developed for Minecraft Realms. Played around with shadows and the bloom a bit, otherwise it's just a quick render I came up with. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: This project was first started a couple of months ago and was recently resumed and finished within a couple of minutes.
  15. Godly vibe with the aesthetics of the textures making the place look like something straight out of the game "Amnesia." Lovely scene and the dust is only the cherry on top .
  16. I had this issue years back with Sony vegas. I'm pretty sure Hitfilm doesn't have issues with reading the exported MP4, but you can always try using the software "Handbrake."
  17. Yeah I agree on the SSAO being a bit too "intense" but thanks!
  18. Im glad someone appreciates the ambient cave aesthetics i was going for.
  19. I recently updated to the newest version of Mine-Imator and thought I'd make something. Sadly I didn't use any of the new camera features on this render but thought I'd play around with cave lighting. I had to make the image a tad bit more vibrant to make it seem less dull. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: The map used in this render is for a mini game I hope to put on the Minecraft Realms mini game list.
