You can, It's just a basic skin, the only rigged things are the particles.

Hello! I tried to do some hologram rigs for the pickaxe collab entry I'm making, and I thought it would be nice to share. So it is easily editable: All you have to do to change the color or the alpha is by changing it directly on the Hologram(Human) tab. I hope you'll be able to make great things with it. Thanks :), I used a sword trail picture I liked on Google Image and for the 1st swing I set it on a plane and for the second I used a cylinder, I made a tutorial for it, it's not that good but I think I'll make a new one.
