To be honest, I thought something was wrong with my monitor's brightness, until I realized that no, it's just you going way overboard on the Ray effect. Tell, me, have you ever been outside during a sunset, looked up at a tree, and then burned your eyes off because that tree had the red hot intensity of a thousand suns? No! A little bit of rays is good, maybe some smaller glow effects thrown in for bloom? But for you to just set the whole sky ablaze is just waaaay too much.
