You guys sound like children. Can you guys possibly get any more annoying about this!? I'm sorry, but this is getting out of hand. Like seriously, it's not like Tdit was banned, and the problem could've ended already. But @Frossa you decided to take it to the forums. @Voxy it wasn't all Tdit's fault, don't act like it. @ElvenShot calling people out doesn't solve a thing. Not to mention that you're calling the entire staff corrupt just because their defending their server. In the end. You guys need to learn how to keep your mouths shut sometimes.

This is my final statement. Those of you who rebel against education will one day come to my terms, and will realize it's become too late and difficult to go back. Those of you who continue to motivate yourself to learn, ignore any opinions against eduation. I witnessed my friends ruin their lives with all these excuses, so will you. Heed my words.

Life is not perfect for anybody, less than 10% of the world's population become what they truly wanted to be when they were kids. If you don't prepare for the day life strikes you, hey, you only know how to animate and don't know how to do something else.
You will end up selling tacos at the corner, and we don't want that, do we?
It's better to learn more things and not ask questions, because life is coming, and once it comes and you're not prepared, there's no turning back.

It's factual and proven, you'd be surprised with some of the experiments in the 60's used on Africans in africa without basic math skills on how very incorrectly and primitively the reacted to scenarios.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing with you, as I said in the first comment, the video is truthful, in some aspects.

School is just used to keep you up-to-date with your countries of knowledge. 
To learn more you have to learn what's already learnt lol.

But yes, there are some subjects that shouldn't be mandatory.

Mathematics:
here are very abstract examples, that people get PAID for:
1) in the center of the room, on the ceiling, is a chandelier, that needs to have decorations added. The commissioner requested an expensive gold rose tinted ribbon be attached from that center, to each of the four courners of the room. First, you must calculate the shortest distance from the chandelier to each of the four corners, then you must figure the maximum cost within the budget, in order not to lose money. How do you do it?
2) aerodynamics are important for the space program, as they require you to be able to measure the rotation of the earth in relative time, and be able to land a specific object in a specific place after it enters space and returns from orbit.
Science:
1) links with #2 of math, however on the science side, you must understand the chemical balance of different kinds of energy and fuel, as well as the effect certain environments, being humid or dry, heat and pressure, in order to be able to build a proper device to be able to withstand the trip it will make, along with all the math
2) without science we wouldn't be able to cure people of many diseases. To this day, there is rapid research going through to find optimal cures for many of the problems that hurt us.
History:
1) history allows us to track our timeline as a people, as well as any fatal errors that were made in the past. By studying the patterns of history, new approaches can be made to prevent repetitions of such catastrophes. The failure of learning history by the majority is the reason why Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Ted Cruz are in the lead. The people have so many problems to deal with, they don't pay attention to any of the important details. This is the same reason Adolf Hitler was able to gain power. He used the media (radio, newspaper, speeches) to gain support, by radicalizing views, and driving attention away from history. The lack of education resulted in many, many deaths.
 
English:
 
Seriously, you need this. One of these days you will need the word triangulate or trivialize, but won't be able to effectively communicate your thoughts through because of limited vocabulary. By limiting your vocabulary, you limit the functionality of your brain's processes.
 
I rambled away, though this is the gist of it. What I've described is not even close to the capabilities of this knowledge.

@KicksBrickster So? Math is used for everything, that's a rule of the world, the fact that you're not going to use it on the real world doesn't mean it's COMPLETELY useless. As an example, you could help your kids (Or your family's kids) with their homework? I don't know, something like that.
Science, english and history are kind of old, but science is science, your english can be improved a wee bit, and history, well... It happened already, there's nothing to be discovered.
Again, there is nothing wrong in knowing about things that you don't think you'll use in the professional field. Your knowledge can get you to places, sure, you say that animation will always be your thing, but the truth is, my friend, you don't know when the tide will turn on your life, and it's better to be prepared for it
