This has nothing to do with anything but I just was to share.
I blame the parents, you shouldn't tell your child "Hes only hurting you because he likes you." Girls contently go back to these abusive relationships because I think this was said to them at a young age and they may not realize but it sticks with them. Many of the good people get pushed away because they are nice and these girls assume they don't have any interest in them when really, they have a lot of interest. Does this make sense? Probably not but oh well.-

I think it's more about parents withholding their love and attention from their daughters that makes them prone to staying with abusive partners they believe care about them, not a simple thing that the parents may say to them when they're in elementary school.
I mean, I didn't even know that was a saying.

@Emanatronic Really you didnt know that? Jeez I heard that all the time as a kid. But maybe its a bit of both.
