Alright, so I left GameMaker static for about an hour. I came back, 'out of memory', and every single sprite is now blank, including the root image file. It's an error I used to see in MI, fixable upon restart, but that didn't work. I've tried every kind of restore possible, all the backups are empty. No Google results. I swear if I've lost that many hours of work, I'm done with this, RIP projects.

For the people that don't know what my AGI Rig (Artificial Global Illumination) does, here's 2 comparisons, basically, it adjusts the lighting to look more like the surrounding, like in real life, also, notice how there's not only one plain color of shadow, but alot of mixed colors.
