      Not really, you should get that 250$ version only if you make a game or sell assets (commercial usage), for art and other things you can buy that 60$ home edition.

      If your looking to animate I recommend Maya over 3ds Max. Maya is the industry standard, is used more often, and is made just for animation and rigging.

      It really needs a second opinion on all of these parts. Consumer reviews making changes to the list would certainly benefit the list instead of one man dictating all of the quality of parts.

      Even though he may have collected the results from reviews, things can always change.
