The purple is suppose to be blue, but due to the warm filter, it changed "his" color.

I couldn't get it right, I couldn't run a point light so I had to struggle.

Yeah, the effect really looks weird. The motion-blur affects the background around the character, but strangely enough, the shadows are still crisp. Also, speaking of shadows, the blocks (which have a slight problem of perspective btw) don't have any. .3.

Yeah, one of the problems may be the fact that your shadows are not elongated by the light produced by the explosion.
