I kinda feel bad for the people who tried to pre-order a PS5.

If I understand correctly, people were getting emails promising that they would get a PS5, when in reality they would not.

That must really suck. Especially since it was already known that PS5 supply would be quite limited, so the only way you were going to purchase on day one is to pre order.

After Xbox Series X/S were revealed, it seem Sony rushed to match the price(reportedly PS5 was originally higher), and one-up them by having pre-orders first.

Sony's haste to 'beat' Xbox caused them to cut corners and the result was million of players had their hope of having a PS5 this holiday ripped away.

  I just think all this competition is kinda stupid. I mean, yeah, they're two different brands trying to sell the same kind of thing, so obviously there's going to be competition if either of them want money, but I feel like if it's this over-the-top something's eventually bound to go horribly wrong.
