      To begin with, Death takes their lives for no reason, killing perfect healthy animals. He learns mercy, and by the end, only takes lives out of necessity and pity. Death discovers that all things must come to an end. The acceptance portrayed in this is beautiful. The sick doe steps forward and calls for Death's embrace... It's so wonderfully symbolic..

      ... have you never searched for meaning in anything before? Symbolism, metaphors, interpretation, do they mean anything to you? The deer wanted to die because it was her time. It worked to progress the story. Her death pushed the message of acceptance, showcasing why it's a necessary thing.

      If it isn't understandable, I'd have to guess that you don't have the ability to grasp those morals, or that your interpretation is very different to ours.
