So this isn't really a custom rig, but it's a simple rig to prevent the hassle of building a nether portal for an animation.  
 
As used in my upcoming animation:
 

 
The particles and light are not included. For the particles, I put a smoke particle and changed the colors to various purples. I also made a bounding box around the particle creator with a radius of 60. For the light, I took a spotlight and aimed it downwards from the top of the portal.

My second (first completed) boat/ship rig, and I am very proud with the result! It has more of a comical theme to it and more bends, but it still follows the 'voxelized' theme:

I also believe this is the first ship/boat to be made entirely out of item sheets; so huzzah for that!
(It was also a lot quicker and easier to make than the Titanic - which I am still currently working on :/)

I've been working on this animation for about three months, and it has been taking a long time due to an unexpected load of work, studying, and the fact that many other things are eating away at my time. Secondly, I encountered many problems because of mineimator's limits, and so I had to cut back on certain effects. But, I've completed 43 seconds of it, and i'd like to share it. I guess this can be considered a teaser? Maybe not, but I'm also releasing it because I feel like I'm not active enough on the forums and so I'd expect that posting this may influence me to become more active again.
 
Lastly, this isn't exactly complete. I'm aiming at adding a few sound effects such as engines, faint gunshot sounds, etc.
