Ambient Occlusion - Fog Z - Lens Flares - God Rays/Lighting- ect.

So that picture sort of emphasizes the type of render I hope mineimator can achieve. It incldes ambient occlusion, a specified Z value for the fog, harder/more solid shadows. I think ambient occlusion could improve renders x100 also having a Z for fog and a fog height can create some really cool effects. I think godrays and lense flares can spice it up even further!

God rays can create a serene feeling as well as that afternoon/morning feel that just makes you feel warm on the insides :)

Glow has been requested many many times, but this a feature that needs to emphasized on. even the slightest glow can make an animation just seem that much better. 

This list is a bit extensive, sorry David,

do I expect you to do it all in one update? NO (and you shouldnt either)

do I even expect you to do it at all? NO. (I dont want to you to feel like im TELLING you to do this, im just suggestin things that could make MI not the 'dwarf' program anymore)

But yeah, anyways, those are my suggestions that I really want to see. 

(I also Hope we get reflective,realistic water ;) )\

God rays are planned, no worries.

As for AA, we might get it but don't hold your breath on it. It's been suggested several times and might not be possible in the program for the time being.

Though zfog seems doable. Hopefully david makes it so.

God rays will be quite useful

Yea I figure adding AA would be pretty difficult

You know, all this can pretty much be done if you're a pro at AE... (which I am not) i guess Ambient Occlusion is still an issue.

 

But you can still get darn close with raw Mine-Imator. Just wait until I release my next animation, you'll see. ;33333

Anti aliasing is in, Ambient occlusion will be added.

true, but some people do not have money for AE, or do not know how to use it.
