Hello, I've seen animations on the forums, some are good, some are.. not so good, so I thought I could help the community improve on the animations. I'm not saying that anyone is bad, it's just that I just came to realization. If we stop animating until 1.0.0 to make our animations better, we could just keep on using it now to make our first 1.0.0 animation even BETTER. And now 1.0.0 is out, you can experiment with it. Please try all the new features! So I've decided to make a topic to help all of you improve your animations. I'm sorry if you feel like you didn't need to read this, but just go on. This is more like a "tip" than a "trick".

And remember, DO NOT be lazy, when people say: "Yeah I know about that but I was just too lazy to fix it"

I just basically hear them say: "Yeah I know about that but I didn't want to make my animation better so I didn't fix it"

Again, I said "Sorry if you feel like you didn't need to read this", but I hope that I helped you make your animation better, and the best any animation possible can be.

To try and get a good impression on the fourms, you have to be careful when giving reps.
Just because you see something you see some mistake doesn't mean you should minus off reps.

Here's a bad example:

This you should probably know. He said that it was his first screenshot.
Certainly you shouldn't say unpositive things to someone who's just starting.

Here's a better example:

As you can see, the italic +1 isn't a requirement.
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of people running out of rep to give out.
If you feel like you're almost going to run out, save it for something you really like.
Although, inspiration is very nice for the user who posted the topic.
Giving it +1's makes the user feel even better.
I'm not forcing any of you not to +1 in anyway.

Now to the harder parts.
Disagreeing with things doesn't give you any right to minus off reps.
Just because the topic might be weird, confusing, not amusing, or etc. has no right to get minus reps either.
Something that offends you in anyway might give you the right to minus reps depending on the situation.

Example:

Jumping to conclusions is very bad.
If you think someone is copying something you made, you need proof.
In fact, there's no getting proof wether he copied you or not.
The rules says you have to give credit for something that someone else made.
If there's no credit, then the video wouldn't even exist on the fourms.
Mods look into these things and can tell if it's copied or not.
If you feel that the mods don't know it's copied, try telling them to look further into the situation.

Example:

Make sure you don't give too much rep out.
By doing so, everyone might think you're too easy to amuse.
That could result to people not trying their best in making things.
Try to be hard to amuse at some point.
When people get to know you, they'll try making things that will entertain you for REAL.

If someone posted something with you saying a joke or related, you can give it minus rep if you're not okay with it.
For example; Let's say someone said something funny in the chat. You wanted to post it.
Always ask permission to post it from the person who said the joke.
If there's no permission and it bothers you, you have every right to give it minus rep.

Example:

If you see someone else who is jumping to conclusions or minusing rep because the topic doesn't amuse him, you can minus rep.
When you look at someone who does that, you'll see how they look on the outside.
Something you want to avoid is looking like them.

Besides everything I said here, there's one thing you have to know.
It's not all about giving rep.
Making topics that are good GIVES you rep instead.
Don't be a lurker. Come out and share what you make.
Getting rep is better than giving it. Trust me.
