  1. Could we get a few more melee weapons (such as a sword, a fire axe, a shovel, a wrench, a knife (or a butterfly knife) and/or a sawblade of some kind) please?
  2. I saw this and I was curious about it too, so I decided to start messing about with shapes and bending. I found a method of doing this that is somewhat more complicated and just a little bit harder to use, but works just as well. The method is demonstrated in the gif below. Once you've done this, all you need is the texture of the mouth to apply to your plane in Modelbench. Hopefully this helps
  3. If it only happens with a pixel size of 3 or less, I'd probably just set it to a pixel size of 6 and then set the scale of that specific axis to 0.5 This solution allows a part with the same length however a different "pixel size"
  4. you can drag the top edge of the UV map area to make the UV map window bigger or smaller.
  5. So I made a modelbench model and it was all fine and dandy until I imported it into MI. The model was of a sword, however I do not know how to find the direct logs of things in Mineimator or Modelbench. Anyway, I made a model in Modelbench of a sword, and then I imported it into MI and it was invisible. I've worked out that it is not the project that is causing this, and nothing else has ever imported invisible like that on my computer before. I'm not sure if this is an issue with Modelbench or MI, but I'm posting it here anyway. The link to the download of said model is here. If you know why this is happening or what's causing it, please tell me. Also, if it isn't invisible on your computer, also let me know. I've tried everything I can think of, and I don't know what to do. All I can think of to substitute the model for now is creating another sword model, but if you know what's happening, please let me know.
  6. This really does not need the suggestion tag, does it? Anyway, my suggestion is this: Custom Loops What are Custom Loops? Custom Loops would allow the user to, kind of similarly to the default animations (y'know, these little buttons in the timeline:) they would allow the user to customise the loop plays between the 2 keyframes. Just a simple suggestion, probably won't get added, but yeah. I'd just like the ability to customise the loop that plays between the 2 main keyframes when you click the walk button or the run button. Being able to set up custom loops for Modelbench Models would also be nice.
  7. (If you want me to release the particles in the background of some of the screenshots, let me know) So, my first suggestion is this: Animated Textures. To put it short, you'd insert a spritesheet into the textures area, and then from there you could select it as a texture for a part and select "use as animated texture" and adjust the size and position of each frame of the texture similar to Keyframes Additionally, I would like blocks with textures different to the part that they're parented to to maintain their texture. If you didn't understand what I mean, picture this: You've got this model: This is a model of a character who has been cut in half vertically, and you have a blood texture parented to the body, and another one parented to the head. These blood textures are not separate parts to the things they're parented to because you need the blood to bend with the character. If you next check "allow player skins" and go into Mineimator and import the model, you can import the model into Mineimator and use it and it works fine. But if you use a custom texture for the "player skin", you get this--what the fudge is this why is this texture not working oh gosh end this man's suffering Like - I didn't know my character's blood was about 50 copies of its own texture, gee golly! Additionally, when you use a colour instead of a texture on a model for a block, it works fine the first time you import the model into MI, but fails at loading the colours when you load the project again. This is before loading the project but after importing it into Mineimator: But after loading the project again... This is after--what the fudge happened to this dud's sword? And it's even worse with the Archer Model I created! And from then on out, if I just wanted a single colour, I created a 1x1 Microsoft Paint document and filled the single pixel with that colour. This would be a nice bug to fix though, for the people who just couldn't be bothered to create a texture for something.
  8. You can't change the background in modelbench I don't think, it just remains as a 3D Grid. Changing the BG in MI is easy peasy, MojangYang posted a screenshot of the background settings, but I do not believe you can change the Modelbench Background.
  9. basically, the ability to rotate Particle Creators. This would also work with parenting. This could have many different uses A blood effect when a decapitated character is falling over A gunshot effect parented to a gun An Arrow particle effect parented to a bow because some dude was too lazy to animate the arrow himself Basically, how this would work, is that the particle spawn would be rotated. Example: If you have a gunshot effect going towards positive X and then you rotate it 90 degrees, it'd be shooting towards Positive Z. Just a neat little feature I thought would be nice and also free up a bit of space in the Timelines and the Library. It'd be great if one of the devs could add this.

  12. So, I'm happily animating on mineimator, and plan to place a couple houses around, so I import the "House2" schematic. I get a good position, then I hit the duplicate button I'm like "WHAAAAAA??!?!?!?!!" So I repeat the process again, hoping for a success this time. When I open it for a third time, it tells me that it didn't close properly and tells me to report it to mineimator forums.
