  1. I'm going to be completely honest in my opinion. If it doesn't hurt you physically, it's a first world problem.

      I understand the concept of first world problems, but it also seems a bit unfair to me. Just because people in other places have bigger problems than people in first world countries, that doesn't mean first world problems aren't problems... If that makes sense. The term makes me think that people are saying the equivalent of "Hey, you may have been slashed on the thigh by that dude's machete, but that guy over there lost both his legs to a land mine, so stop complaining, you don't have a problem."

      @BOOMmaker Being slashed on the thigh would be hurt physically. At that point it's not a first world problem.

      Yeah, it was an anecdote...

      I meant that just because there's a bigger problem, the smaller ones do not cease to be problems, and the term "first world problems" always seems like it's saying opposite of that to me.
