On the first picture, why are there grey bars on the teeth?

Obviously to make them seem 3d. I mean, they were probably just on the skin from to start and he didn't realize until it was too late.

I used SFR,Skibbz's facial rig 2.0 has bodys to make the mouth smile or frown.
