GIF image support?

i made a GIF image, and i want it to be a texture for a surface, but it bugs, and shows black&white.

GIF files are not yet supported.

yeaaahh.. It doesn't work since no algorithm has been put in place for gif images yet, since they'd be animated in almost every case.

I don't know if it will get support at all since the usage is very niche. Your best option is to export each frame individually, and then apply the frames in sequence via the keyframe's texture option. It's a hard way of doing it, but it works if you are truly desperate for this to work.
