Yeah that's what the forum does

I get where you are coming from, but a skype group produces faster feedback than what the forums does. People can easily explain things in voice better than typing it out.

Not many people use the chat room, so why not make a group on skype which most people have

Because there is always someone in the Chat room.
Skype works better, because no matter what time you say something at, eventually everyone in the group will see it, and you'll most likely get an answer.
Meanwhile, with the Chat Room, you don't always encounter someone with a good answer to whatever you're asking/saying.
Skype is just a lot more convenient.
