I don't see what's wrong with particle muzzle flashes...

Png's on surfaces in MI works quite well,Particles works well too.

When I tried it with particles they always seemed to face the camera, which obviously wouldnt look right if the gun isnt. Not sure if there's a way to turn that off or something, I haven't messed about with it too much yet

... Where are the clouds?   

It's a very clear day.. Aha, I think I turned them off because the clouds were pretty much at the level of the big tower. 

I'm aware you can set the cloud height, but I'll do that when I have nothing better to do

I've just never really found a way that they can make my animating significantly easier. I'm sure they can somehow, but I haven't found it yet.

They can make walking cycles easier, though I never use them.

Folders serve one function in actual animation: Rotation Point Change.

If you have a Spider Body, it's going to have one spot where it Rotates and none else. Using a Folder can change that since the Body will be Parented to it.

I just use Folders for Organization. Without them, I'd be lost in the sea that is the scope of my animations.

I think we call those Items.

Not that there's a problem, but you might not be able to express as much.

@Kilonn I've always wanted to do a big WW2 animation, but sometimes my ideas are a bit too ambitious for the program to handle

Not really, but I'm not a whatever this is about-fan.

@Keep on Chucking Each to their own, but I'm mainly reaching out to any fellow comic books fans (if there are any) if they'd like to see some more superheroes in animations. I for one have barely seen any superhero themed animations.

@SDWAN Aw, come on! I've wanted something like that for a while, and I would have decorated it up good.

I just really, really like the way this guy does Schematics. I mean, look at that! Those stands and building layouts are grand!

Just fyi, when I finish it I'll get some snapshots and upload it to here, and I may do some more. I just love doing medieval structures.

Try to focus on the leg rotating a whole lot, then have the body follow.   

Yeah that's what I'm playing about with atm, I spent a few minutes just turning in opposite directions in my living room really slowly to see what people actually do
