So on my newest animation a big suggestion is muzzle flash. My question is, should I make particles for them or use another program like AE to put muzzle flash in my videos? I'm kind of struggling to make realistic muzzle flash within Mine-Imator so I'm thinking just import it afterwards in AE. Thoughts?

Screenshot from my upcoming animation, 'The Sniper' (Big inspiration from the Saving Private Ryan scene). Hopefully will be uploaded tomorrow.

Seems as though everyone is downloading after effects and making generic wallpapers now..

Is it weird that I never use folders? Obviously you can use them to organise your timeline, but can/how can they be used to actually help with animating? I saw somewhere they can help with making realistic physics and all that jazz, maybe someone can give me some tips?

Folders serve one function in actual animation: Rotation Point Change.
If you have a Spider Body, it's going to have one spot where it Rotates and none else. Using a Folder can change that since the Body will be Parented to it.
I just use Folders for Organization. Without them, I'd be lost in the sea that is the scope of my animations.

One of my favourite heavy metal bands write songs which are absolutely perfect for an intense fight scene.. I'm so excited I have so many ideas after listening to them now.

@Decepticon Yea me too dude

So I'll probably be spending the day making rigs, textures, and schematics for my upcoming WW2 themed animation. This particular picture is the M1 Garand I made. I like simple looking weapons.
-
@Emanatronic Okay then. Rigs, textures, schematics, and items
-
Who here likes WW2 themed animations? I've just come up with a great idea, inspired from one of my favourite films, Saving Private Ryan. It may take a few weeks to perfect, but I really wanna get this right, it looks amazing in my head

@Kilonn I've always wanted to do a big WW2 animation, but sometimes my ideas are a bit too ambitious for the program to handle

I liked pretty much everything, now to see if my local store has it *goes outside*

So I'm a huge comic book fan, and I've seen someone posting some topics on Marvel vs DC heroes, and I'm tempted to make some Marvel/DC fight scenes. First up Hawkeye vs Green Arrow! Does anyone like the sound of this?
-
@Keep on Chucking Each to their own, but I'm mainly reaching out to any fellow comic books fans (if there are any) if they'd like to see some more superheroes in animations. I for one have barely seen any superhero themed animations.

So this is what I've been working on the past couple days..
It's not 100% complete but the majority is done. Personally I'm not too sure about the walls They're more like 'big castle' walls and this is more of a village. I might change that.. What do y'all think? -
This is gonna look pretty neat when it's done I reckon

@SDWAN Aw, come on! I've wanted something like that for a while, and I would have decorated it up good.
I just really, really like the way this guy does Schematics. I mean, look at that! Those stands and building layouts are grand!
-
@Emanatronic I really appreciate that, but this is my first schematic
Just fyi, when I finish it I'll get some snapshots and upload it to here, and I may do some more. I just love doing medieval structures.Like, all my animations from now on will be medieval lol

Am I the only one who finds it difficult to animate characters turning in the opposite direction when walking? I don't know what it is, I just can't seem to animate that movement good enough.

When you have a huge case of writers block and you finally come up with an idea

I love starting new projects.. "In a few days time, this empty canvas is going to be filled with keyframes and mobs." It's just great

Uploaded a new video on my YouTube, would be great if you could give it a view!
