Thanks, i've actually just finished working on an improved running animation i'm gonna post it.

Whether or not it has round bending doesn't affect how smooth an animation looks. Round or sharp bending is up to the animator's personal preference. I prefer sharp bending, myself. The animation looks great, although the run needs to be a bit faster and the arms need to bend a bit more, and the idle pose needs to have more movement over a slower period of time, depending on if the character is calm or energetic, etc. Also, while running, don't make the chest that stiff. You did pretty well, other than what I said. Good job.

This was a joint with me and my friend SupersonicXX9 just to test jointing. I liked how it was coming along so I added more to it and bam:

 
not much else to say other than there were no drugs involved (unless you want there to be)

This was a test of HUD elements being used in Mine-imator with a bunch of surfaces, and custom text surfaces that emulate custom numbers. The result is pretty legit, and looks really nice too. The animations are just a bonus, despite the flaws it has as people have mentioned. Everything shown was rendered in Mine-imator, no extra effects or anything of that sort. (I even forgot to apply an HD texture pack, something I never do.)
 
I could have went with just a screengrab but I kind of went overboard and was really eager to test everything I could.
 
The HUD will be downloadable soon, but this HUD is one of many that will be released in a pack from my partner in crime, SupersonicXX9.
 
That's pretty much it.

So, I had quite a bit of fun making this. I based it off of the image in this spoiler,



and I think it turned out pretty good. Was trying out a new style on this one. Here are a couple of images of just the sword. Sorry for not removing the ground, aheh.
