It really depends on how much you care about him... I know, I know, that sounds terrible, but priorities are to be in order. 5 years is probably a whole third of your life right now, and unless you're very close or very distant, there isn't much that needs to be done.

I do believe my uncle from France died from cancer or a sort of illness, never really knew him though.
