Yeah I gotta agree. It looks like there's a tiny door malfunctioning on the lights instead of the lights flickering off and on.

i think i see the problem here:

the lights are very slow, a flickering should be fast AF

They are actually flickering pretty fast but the bloom take a second to appear and by that time it already flickered a few times so you can't really see it.
