use items goddammit, it is easier

go to your local paint.net or powerpoint and type in the words you need

save as an image

make an item in MI and change the texture to your words

then untick 'use as item sheet'

Good for you. But can everybody do that? No they cannot, so that's why it's asked for.

We need as much as possible inside the program so you can sync stuff to it without depending on post process with external programs. What we need even more is proper 2d text, right now there's no way to add for example subtitles properly
