Noobs dig directly down, they mine diamonds before excavating the area, and they stand on top of obsidian when mining it.

They also go cave mining instead of strip mining(Not always noobish), and they don't watch their backs when doing so. They can't even take on a Enderman with an iron sword, nor creepers. They build huts out of one material, usually dirt, and a lot of the times, put the mine in their house.
