Would lag a lot on older computers, and It would look weird on dirt/grass/anything other than the shinier blocks including gold, iron, diamond, emerald, and glass blocks. This is more "C4D"ish.

This can be accomplished with a new entity like "cubemaps" for the source engine. But 3d programs do this normally on the fly. David would understand what I am speaking of, but for those who don't understand, read this.
