  1. How do you increase memory to the new program. I tried opening an old animation and it just keeps "out of memory error" but it will open on the old animator?
  2. Playing with a different style of mouth.
  3. Thank you. I did not realise by holding the timeline word that it would move the whole section. .
  4. I accidentally move the timeline display to the side of the program and now I don't know how to get it back to the bottom of the screen. Please help
  5. Thanks Patrick I was the first attempt at camera movement. I wanted to rotate the camera movement on a different axis as well as rotate the camera its self. It was harder than it seemed. I finally used a alpha channel hidden block and parented the camera to it for the different axis movement. I never thought of the animals - its a good idea. They would be freaking out when the ufo arrived. I tried to get a slow/ cautious move when he moved to see the ufo but I have a stop watch now, so I can get actual moves more realistic. Also I found it hard to get the flip right. After we posted it I thought I could have used a hidden block to get the rotation point more closer to the centre of his body which would probably made it better.
  6. Finally finished our first mine-imator animation with my son. Its been a long learning with much more to go. A great little program. Thanks David I need opinions with constructive suggestions on how to make it better not just single line childish sarcastic comments. That is how we all learn to be better animators.
  7. If you are building scenery or a large structure that does not require interacting with (ie: blown up or doors opening etc.) then it is better to build it in minecraft. and bring the whole thing into mine-imator as a schematic. Then mine-imator runs a lot quicker as there is much less objects in the list to process. Just leave the things you want to interact with out of the schematic and put them in with mine-imator. I did a farm with fences and handrails on the house no worries and brought the whole thing in, then put the doors and gates in later. I also built a tricycle in huge pieces in minecraft and brought each piece ( schematic ) in and assembled it in Mine-imator. This cut my list of objects down to 7 pieces for the trike.
  8. I am doing an animation that will require multiple falling blocks. Does anyone know of an instructional video or an easy way to achieve this. I want the blocks to fall, hit the ground and bounce in random directions but not hit each other. I could just fall like sand in minecraft but I would like to make it a more natural fall and bounce. Hope someone can help Mr_wepee
  9. You most probably have two keyframes set close together accidently. I guess it would be a key frame for the character body. Anyway scroll in on the keyframes and try to find two very close together. The is usually the cause of jerky actions also.
