by saying 100% will render the whole map, do you mean the whole MI world? cause that's basically infinite,or maybe will go on and on and on untill you  computer has no more memory.Or do you mean the whole schematic?

    the whole schematic

You should just put sectors of your scene in Folders that you can set to Invisible when you're not working on/with them, that is if your Project is that big or complex.

Yeah, that's what I planning to do.

  3. The idea for this is when you need to import a big map and mine-imator starts to slow down. So how about a option to limit render distance. How it should work is 100% distance will render the whole map. Then when you lower the distance, say 50%, half the map will only load. 1% would be the center of the map. However, maybe a height limit should be added as well.

lol, I didn't pay attention to that. Everyone is always looking for exploits to kill their own teammate anyway xD

  5. I thought it would be neat if we can have a option to Draw Distance. I thought fog might do, but it showed no difference in the frame per second. I can animate in 60 fps if I import a small chunk of land (maybe round 9 chunks size in Minecraft), but import any bigger, then my fps starts to drop. So if we can have a option to render a selected amount chunk, I can animate a lot easier and more accurate. In the final render, it should be disable so you can see the whole chunk of land that you imported. This can be very useful if you want to import a big chunk of land and you don't have the best computer out there. Now this would not be a problem for me if I had a better computer, but I have to be stuck with this potato till I get my grades up so I can get a car and a job.

I would love that ,but again with people using AE they will cheat their way to get a prize over edited effects...

So I want to be on one rule:

    No editing programs...just pure mine-imator...

No, no, no, I use AE to color correct the footage and add motion blur to make it more realistic. You can just get the software yourself, even if you don't wanna pay for it (which i don't suggest if you have money to burn)

  7. Yeah, sure, there's shadows, but just because there's shadows doesn't mean it's that realistic. It's kind of hard explaining it for me, but the Ambient occlusion in mine imator right now is just buh. I'll just show you the image I made in photoshop: http://oi60.tinypic.com/17efb8.jpg (sorry, the image to url thing on this site is not working for me)

The Ambient Occlusion in the software is pretty much a solid color. Defferent sides of the cube will have the same color when the Ambient Occlusion is apply to it. When it's under a shadow is the worst. Here's another Image on what I'm talking about: http://th03.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2014/146/9/4/simon_and_lewis_by_lachlangaming-d7jso8d.png (look at the dark side of the blocks that shadows are casting over, they should not be a solid color, it's just kind of gross).

I hope no one is confuse about this. I know I'm bad at explaining things, but I just want some improvement on the lighting and the Ambient Occlusion.
