  1. Alright. I do watch Steve Lycindale, Redcap, GasCreeper, but the only animations on my opinion that can be compared to more professional programs are Ani mal's. I first found him when he had 100 or so subs, and he is quite amazing. I do have Premiere Pro and I could try to get After Effects, but this just adds effects but doesn't have the smoothness of animation in other programs. Thanks for the replies, and I may not be a very good animator, but I will attempt to do some smooth animation.
  2. What I mean is I have never seen a Mineimator animation as good as any animation that a half decent animator in other programs would make.
  3. When people make Minecraft animations, the most common software to use is Cinema4D, Blender, Autodesk Maya, or Mine-imator. However, every time an animation is made using any software besides Mineimator, it just looks different and has a different feel. It looks better and possibly smoother. Is it the ambient occlusion? The spline movements? I would really like an answer.

  5. So, I had a good idea . Flying squids were a cool thing back in earlier versions of Minecraft as a glitch. I brought them back and had Etho as the many character as he play survival Minecraft very often.   10. For now, I say this rig is a failure due to the fact, as ChrisRockHD mentioned, you can't move the head in any way. For now, I call this a failure until I magically fix it.
  11. Thanks for reporting that . I'll get on to fixing it, but I currently have no clue how to do so . I actually though it was one of a kind D:. Oh well, it was a good attempt .
  12. Mineimator is easier to control than other programs, but my idea is that if you animate by clicking on stuff on the screen, you won't have to randomly click around to find parts of the face. Also, I would love if something like Shape Keys in blender would be implemented. It would make round animations like smooth smiles or a smooth bow pullback so easy to do.
  13. Doing this took me about 3 hours and a few minutes of pre-planning. To get everything to move with the head, parent the board to the face, and make sure that the board doesn't inherit rotation. The face of course is parented to the head. The only thing I don't think can be done is bending. Thanks!
  14. New Human Rig Concept Hey, it's Tritofic, and I'm back. In programs such as Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D, there are little "control" boxes to control the facial features of a Minecraft character. I have never seen this done in Mine-imator, so I took my take in it. Keep in mind that this is only a concept and is only the first version of the rig.
