    Transitions are different speeds to move the object in an different way. If you use Ease in and out, It will become smooth, that goes like this: SLOWER - S | MEDIUM - M | FASTER - F SSMFFFMSS Which means: Smoother, due to moving faster in the middle and slower when stopping. This helped?
